I am a FULL TIME WORKER at a hospital research facility, so my activity on this blog can be erratic at times, depending on the amount of work I have to do at the moment. I will always return the same courtesy to you.I don't own NAMOR / K'UK'ULKAN and i do not have any affiliation with the Marvel Franchise, however, any HCs / metas / graphics I have for him are purely my own and i do not tolerate any theft. the PSD / graphics / carrd i use on this blog are purely my own.as we all know, marvel comics are a mess, so my interpretation of k'uk'ulkan is based on a few runs that i deem vital to his character - this essentially means that i am heavily plot-based and prefer to have plotted interactions as opposed to just winging it. i do have other verses for k'uk'ulkan and i am more than happy to use them for interactions outside of the canon that i've been developing for him!

__APPEARANCE.__*

• height 7 feet and 2 inches tall ( 219.5cm )
• build athletic build, sturdy and a bit stocky.
• hair color a deep black with highlights of midnight blue.
• hair style this can vary, however, it's usually cut short on the sides with the hair on top of his head slicked back - random strands cling to his forehead despite his best efforts, however. namor's hair can also grow out to the back of his neck - it's thick and wavy with lots of volume.
• eye color k'uk'ulkan's eyes are a deep blue, nearly as dark as the depths of the ocean itself. the sclera of his eyes are pitch black as a result of his status as a deep sea-dweller.
• piercings a septum piercing, nipple piercings and ear piercings - all made of intricately carved jade ornaments.
• tattoos none.
• scars the sub-mariner has been in countless battles throughout his long life, and a few have left lasting scars. however, the most apparent is the discolored, jagged ring around his neck - a reminder of the time that an alternate version of hyperion had decapitated him.
• face namor is regal, nearly ethereal in appearance. he has been described as a ' king among men ' - he can either be clean shaven or have a nicely maintained, short beard.

__TEMPERAMENT.__*

•⠀⠀ personality ⠀⠀ namor is considered to be extremely hot-tempered, arrogant, and proud - often thinking of himself as superior to surfacers due to his upbringing as talokan's ruler. however, while namor is all of these things, he is also astonishingly compassionate, loving, loyal, and most of all, empathetic to, not only his people's suffering, but to the suffering of surface people to some extent. namor is a man of complex morals and strict virtues.
•⠀⠀ habits ⠀⠀ prone to angry outbursts, wears his heart on his sleeve, has a tendency to pace when he's frustrated or pondering something.

NOTE: namor is considered to be an alpha-level mutant - only omni-level mutants are above this tier, so needless to say, namor is an extremely powerful being and coming into conflict with him is not recommended unless it's plotted out first.

ALTERED AMPHIBIOUS PHYSIOBIOLOGY: Namor's body is specially developed for underwater conditions, granting him specialized blood circulation to withstand freezing temperatures and highly developed vision to see clearly even in the deepest, murky ocean depths. His hybrid physiology means he can survive indefinitely underwater or on land, though he would still need occasional contact with water to survive due to his hormonal / chemical imbalance.Namor can breathe indefinitely underwater, however, the gills located on his neck are vestigial and they do not have the same functionality as the gills the talokanil6 possess. His lungs contain specialized lamellae that allow him to absorb oxygen from the ocean's waters just as much as the open air.flight: the sub-mariner has vestigial wings on both of his ankles, by which he seems to fly at the speed of high velocity when exerting himself fully - his flight speed at ' normal ' levels is enough to enable Namor to fly faster than the most advanced of military jets. Namor's ability to lift weights when flying is sufficient to enable him carry a 50-ton anchor with one hand without a discernible loss of speed / momentum.Superhuman physiology + durability: the sub-mariner is superhumanly strong, but his physical strength is greater than that of any member of his superhuman race - the exact level of his strength is dependent upon his physical contact with water and his strength diminishes slowly the longer he is out of contact with it. however, he is easily able to go toe-to-toe with the likes of the hulk, thor, hercules and even carol danvers.Not only can he lift thousands of tons without any effort, he has been known to withstand point-blank blows with carol danvers, silver surfer, and the she-hulk without gaining a single scratch. The tissues of k'uk'ulkan's body are much harder and much more resistant to physical injury than those of normal human beings and other talokanil. Namor can withstand extremely forceful blows / impacts, high caliber bullets, falls from orbital heights, exposure to temperature and pressure extremes of low cold and high heat, and powerful energy blasts without sustaining injury.'

on top of that, namor possesses electrolocation, allowing him to navigate the ocean depths and sense the presence of other creatures within his own electromagnetic field.In terms of speed, the feathered serpent can run and move at speeds greater than even the finest human athlete. His speed is greatest, however, while swimming. Whereas most talokanil can swim at speeds greater than 60mph, Namor has shown that he can reach a speed of over 345 mph if he is allowed to pick up momentum. his speed is only backed up by his stamina, his hybrid physiology produces considerably less carbon dioxide during physical activity, heavily reducing the rate at which he becomes fatigued. At his peak, Namor can physically exert himself for more than 24 hours before the build-up of carbon dioxide begins to slow him down. Namor's stamina, much like his strength, steadily declines the longer he is outof contact with water and will diminish over a long and steady period of time.k'uk'ulkan's agility, balance, and bodily coordination are enhanced to levels that are beyond any human or talokanil - and his reflexes are similarly heightened, he can react at impressive levels of super speed, able to catch missiles straight out of the air and throw them back at their point of origin.superhuman healing: If he was somehow injured, Namor's body can heal damaged flesh faster and much more extensively than a human or most talokanil. Namor's accelerated healing is at its peak while he is immersed in water, but does diminish the longer he is out of contact with water or if he is completely dry - but either way, his body can easily remedy broken bones, cut tissue, or the worst of injuries as a whole as long as he has been in water rather recently.aquatic Telepathy: Namor possesses a telepathic communication system with all forms of marine life. He is able to mentally communicate with most, if not all, the deep sea life within the ocean, and he can mentally persuade them to do his bidding. Namor can also mentally communicate with other talokanil ( giving mental / telepathic orders to all his people ) and possibly humans as well - should he develop his power to its fullest.atmokinesis + hydrokinesis: namor is able to change the atmosphere in the same vein as storm from the x-men, causing heavy downpours of rain as he sees fit. in addition, namor is fully capable of controlling any body of water or liquid (as long as it contains some form of hydrogen), even at an extreme distance from where he's currently standing.

[ IMPERIUS REX ] :   == main verse, default arc. ==, namor is still the ruler of talokan - and after years of betrayal by his "allies" and multiple excursions with the surface world, he has finally had enough. with his ocean home gradually becoming more and more polluted, with more and more waste being carelessly dropped while he and his people have to reap the consequences, his limits have been pushed well past their limits. while he desires to avoid war for the sake of what's left of his people, it seems to be one of the only options he has left to keep them safe. k'uk'ulkan no longer allies himself with the heroes of the surface world - everything he does is for the sake of the talokanil - if his interests just so happen to align with that of the avengers and the like, then so be it - but let it be known... this monster is one of their own making.
